The Madison River starts in Yellowstone and flows north through our backyard in Ennis. Quake Lake to Ennis Lake is known as the Upper Madison, and Ennis Lake to Three Forks is known as the Lower Madison.

Starting in the Gravelly Range in Southwest Montana, the Ruby River flows north to the Ruby River Reservoir and through the Tobacco Roots until joining the Beaverhead.
